Details:
1.Zirconia ceramics have the advantages of high hardness, good wear resistance, high toughness, low coefficient of friction, and good corrosion resistance. They are widely used in mechanical seals, ball milling media, cutting tools, ceramic bearings,automotive engine parts, etc.

2.The wear resistance of zirconia ceramics is 15 times that of alumina ceramics. The friction coefficient of zirconia ceramics is only 1/2 of that of alumina ceramics, while the friction coefficient of alumina ceramics is very low.

3.The density of zirconia ceramics is higher than that of alumina ceramics. The density of alumina ceramics is 3.5. The density of zirconia ceramics is 6. The texture is more delicate. After grinding, the surface finish is higher than 9. It is mirror-like,extremely smooth, and has a smaller coefficient of friction.

4.In addition, the toughness of zirconia ceramics is excellent, which overcomes the inherent brittleness of the ceramics, has higher wear resistance, and greatly extends the service life of the product.

 

Applications of zirconia ceramic

* Structural ceramics:
Mainly include: Y-TZP grinding ball, nozzle, ball valve ball seat, fiber optic sleeve, drawing die and cutting tool, wear-resistant cutter, case and strap, bracelet and pendant, ball bearing, etc.

* Functional ceramics:
Used as induction heating tubes, refractory materials, and heating elements. Used in fields such as oxygen sensors, solid oxide fuel cells, and high-temperature heating elements.
